“Show the value of what you do"

There isn’t much point in working on great things if nobody knows about them. But what exactly makes sense to talk about to show the value of what you do?
According to Patricia and Jack Phillips, as you talk about your project, please share:
🔹 What is the impact of your project, i.e the problem solved or opportunity seized?
🔹 How do participants feel, are they happy, are they committed?
🔹 What do people learn in your project?
🔹 How is this project changing habits, behaviors, actions?
🔹 Is it worth it, how big is “the bang per buck” in financial figures?

The book “Show the value of what you do: measuring and achieving success in any endeavor” itself is about planning the project with the end result in mind: linking impact, solutions, objectives, collecting and analysing the data, leveraging the results. And yes, it is possible to calculate ROI for every project, even for a leadership development program, and you should show the value before you are asked.
