RESEARCH FIELD

As a PhD candidate in Business Administration at TalTech, I am researching the factors that guide the setting of HR priorities in organizations, with a focus on organizational performance. One might assume that such factors include strategy, business model, organizational culture, or the stage of the organization's lifecycle, but there is currently no confirmation of this in the academic literature.

Several authors have proposed a set of best HR practices—essentially HR activities—which, even if partially implemented, positively impact organizational performance. Research has also explored the factors influencing the implementation of these best practices, such as the quality of human capital, leadership capabilities, or organizational culture. My research focuses on how companies select the best HR practices for themselves and whether these are truly the optimal choices.

My dissertation is supervised by Mike Franz Wahl from TalTech and Divya Shukla from the University of Northampton.

If you would like to contribute to my research with your company and simultaneously explore which HR practices should be prioritized in your organization, please get in touch with me.
